Mucopain Gel is used as local anesthesia to numb the tissues in a specific area. It is used for short term to relieve pain from minor mouth problems such as toothache, mouth ulcers, sore gums, or mouth/gum injury. Apply Mucopain Gel to the affected area of the mouth or gums. Make sure to wash your hands before and after using this medicine. Follow the directions on the label or those given to you by your doctor. Do not use this medicine more often than directed. This medicine should not be used in children younger than 2 years as it may cause serious side effects.
